"Cloud computing depicts the act of storing, processing data and handling of information online — rather than all alone in a physical PC or system.

A type of internet-based computing, Cloud computing refers to delivery of computing services over the internet or "the cloud" instead of using local storage and computing. The different computing services include servers, storage, databases, networking, software, applications, and analytics. Cloud computing eliminates the need for hardware acquisition, maintenance, installation of software.

The short answer is that it's a place at the other end of your internet connection where you can access apps and services and store all your data securely. Cloud computing is a model for conveying data and information in which assets are retrieved from the web through web-based tools and applications rather than a direct connection to a server. Cloud computing isn't really new, it's been around since the 1950s, cloud computing has emerged as one of the most talked about subjects in business IT over the past few years, so why is it such a hot topic right now?

Despite all these benefits of cloud computing is taken with some hesitation on the part of large and small businesses. The real impact of cloud computing is yet to be seen, there is a great software and hardware are starting to look at trends in access to it, that much money.
