In the computer industry, an enterprise is just another name for a business; the term is often used to describe all the organization that uses computers. Enterprise is a term that encompasses small and big, private, public businesses, corporations, government bodies, and possibly unique sorts of business affiliations. You will often come across the usage of the word “Enterprise” when examining new organizations and different organizations. In the end, the term is connected with more used for larger organizations than smaller ones.

Forms of business enterprises which are actively observed in USA being:

Sole proprietorship- A business run by an individual, sole proprietorship is the most basic, simplest and common form of enterprise.  A sole proprietorship can operate under the name of its owner and he is the only person responsible for all his business's debts, losses, and liabilities.

Partnership (Joint Enterprises): A business owned by more than two individuals with mutually agreed to operate the business for profit.

Corporation:  A form of business enterprise that declares the business as an independent legal entity owned by shareholders. In corporations, corporate affairs are discussed and guided by the board of directors.

Limited Liability Company (LLC): A limited liability company (LLC) is a hybrid type of legal structure/form of a business combining several features of corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships.

LLCs business structures are usually more simple, cheap and flexible than corporation’s structure.
