Social Media Marketing

When social media sites are used to gain traffic or attention to any product or company or services, it simply refers to social media marketing. It’s a form of internet marketing and its goal is to create content that will attract users and will make them share it with their social network. This helps a company to get an exposure to its brand and meet the targets of customer reach. It’s a strategy to draw target audience and new, unique visitors to a website and this can be done with the help of Social Media Optimization. This can be either done by the process of RSS feeds or sharing buttons, i.e by adding social media links to contents, or by promoting activities like sharing posts, updating statuses or tweets or by blog posts.

Customer-company relations can be very well maintained in this process of marketing as direct feedback from the customers are available and the issues can be addressed by the company in no time. Social media marketing platform helps the customers to ask questions and queries and give the company immense opportunity to consolidate its customers and cultivate them. SMM thus helps a company in Customer relationship management. With the increasing popularity of different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc, SMM has become the key marketing strategy foe most companies around the world. This is a cost effective process and helps the company to reach out to a wider range of audience and do business globally.
